After graduating from University (2:1 in Multimedia and Digital Entertainment) I started offering my graphic/animation services as a freelancer. I have created a number of websites, graphics and motion graphic videos for a range of people. I just finished creating some VFX (rotoscoping, mocha tracking etc.) for Beardyman's latest music video (Big Man) which is being produced by Partizan, London. I am also creating graphics and animations for FaceOn Magazine. I feel that having experienced working directly for clients I can fully appreciate what their requirements are, from design brief to completed project.
I am a hard working individual who enjoys working in team environments and consider myself very competent at working on individual projects. I feel that when I am given a task I am very dedicated to completing it to the highest possible standard.
This aspect of my personality is also reflected in other hobbies. I have a keen interest in athletics, tennis and badminton among other sports. This competitive streak drives me to create work, which is of a high standard. I was in Northumbria University’s athletic team and I trained at Gateshead International Arena whilst in Newcastle. I also enjoy using my computer for personal projects to refine my skills (currently creating 5 second animation projects inspired by Nick Campbell - http://www.greyscalegorilla.com), photography, playing computer games and watching films.
I look forward to challenging projects that push my knowledge and skills. If there is part of a project I find difficult, as I don’t have the necessary skills, I can quickly and efficiently find a solution. Over the past few years I have gathered a large collection of useful websites that I can delve into whenever they are needed.
